Libby is here to help you!

You might find this little ladybug offering helpful hints, tips and recommendations as you read through the information on our site. She's kind of a mascot of sorts and our own personal creation.

Libby's Origins

Libby the Ladybug was the second of a group of cute little characters we created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The plan was to take these characters and put them in little cause and effect type flash games for our daughters. These games seem to work great for baby to toddler age.

Libby the Ladybug herself never made it into a flash game. Because of our busy schedules we only finished a couple games for our girls starring Libby's good friend Busy Little Bee. That doesn't mean she won't eventually make it in to one. This little ladybug is happy to have found here limelight other ways.

Libby the Ladybug in her own Children's book

Libby the Ladybug is on her way to being the star of her own children's book. Initially we decided to create this book to help our daughters with their ABC's. We also wanted to provide them with a colorful and imaginative book that used a character they were familiar with to teach and guide them. Recently we decided to publish the artwork and writings to share with the rest of the world. If you are interested in checking it out it is will be available soon.

In the book as you read to your child you will follow our little ladybug around her favorite places and meet her garden friends teaching your child letters and vocabulary.

My daughter Vanessa saw me drawing sketches of Libby the ladybug one day as I was trying to brainstorm ideas for a ladybug book. She decided she would take a crack and drawing her as well. The picture to the side is her adorable interpretation (or fanart) of her.
