Ladybug Cake for a Little Lady
I love this cake. I made it by using two glass Anchor Hocking baking bowls. I used store-bought icing mixed to the right color using confectioners sugar to make it thick and make sure the “stars” in the icing hold their shape. I used Wilton brand decorator tips and disposable bags. I used the leaf tip to make the fern leaves beneath the little lady.
I used a heart shape cookie cutter as a guide for the heart-shaped spots and used black sugar edible glitter to make this little lady sparkle. The mouth and legs are Twizzlers with sterling silver bendable wire inserted in the middle to hold shape. The eyes were made out of bakers white chocolate, using blue food coloring for the big blue eyes. She is just precious!
